1978 Kawasaki KZ650 C2 in Charlotte, NC

Selling my mint condition KZ. Runs and rides as new. Like new. Paint is glossy and like show room. Chrome is perfect. Not original are the low rise handle bars, round mirrors, stepped seat, aftermarket coils and plug wires, and pipe. The original airbox is gone and there are K&N pod filters on it. No leaks at all. There are two blemishes. On the rear tail there is a slight mark where the original owners son tried to jump start the bike back around 1980 and the wires got hot and heated the plastic. On the front of the seat there is a slight melt mark, not all the way through just enough to mar the seat. It has KZ650D wide wheels on it but I also have the originals. Also not on the bike but included are the center stand, chain guard, original handle bars, original mirrors, extra carbs, turn signals and a Clymer manual. The battery is old and is the only thing that should be replaced. I run it on a lithium battery but that does not go with the bike. A standard lead acid batter does. The battery is enough to ride the bike but will not run the electric starter so you have to kick start it. Odometer shows 3130 miles but the gages were replaced around 20 years ago.
